Choosing the Correct Rubber Pad for ORLANDINI Lifts

For ORLANDINI lifts, the exact model designation is particularly important because different lift designs use different types of lifting pads. A rubber pad suitable for a LUX PS2CH 4.0 is not necessarily compatible with a LUX PS2MD 4.0 - 5.0, HERMES PSLE 3.5 E, ERUS PS4C or PLANUS lift. Depending on the lift design, round rubber pads, rectangular rubber pads, rubber blocks, support discs or special pads may be installed.

The most frequently requested ORLANDINI rubber pads and support disc rubbers are those for two-post lifts such as LUX PS2CH 3.2, LUX PS2CH 4.0, LUX PS2CH 5.0, LUX PS2MD 3.0, LUX PS2MD 3.2 - 4.0 and LUX PS2MD 4.0 - 5.0. For these models, diameter, height, pad shape and mounting method are essential.

For HERMES scissor lifts such as PSLR 3.0, PSLE 3.0, PSLE 3.5, PSLE 3.5 E and PSLE 4.0 E, rubber blocks, rectangular pads or special lifting pads are often required. On ERUS four-post lifts, including PS4C, PS5C and PS5CW, rubber pads may also be used on axle jacks, cross beams or auxiliary lifting devices.

As lift configurations may differ depending on production year, version or the support disc currently installed, you should always measure the existing support disc before ordering. Compare all dimensions with the technical drawings and measurements provided on the respective product page. This helps prevent incorrect orders and makes it easier to identify the correct rubber pad for your ORLANDINI lift.

ORLANDINI Rubber Pads for LUX, HERMES, ERUS and PLANUS

Rubber pads and support disc rubbers on ORLANDINI lifts are typical wear parts. Daily use, vehicle weight, oil, dirt and ageing can cause the pads to become hard, cracked or damaged. Replacing worn pads in good time protects the vehicle lifting points and ensures proper contact with the support disc.

Older ORLANDINI Lifts and Used Equipment Designations

Older or no longer clearly current ORLANDINI designations are often found on used equipment platforms. These include Type 129E, ORLANDINI 1-Post Lift 2.5 t, ORLANDINI 5.5 Ton and Kappa 500/WT50E. These terms are useful for product searches but should not automatically be regarded as official current model designations.

Especially on older ORLANDINI lifts, support discs, lifting arms, rubber pads or adapters may have been replaced over the years. For this reason, the component currently fitted to the lift is more important than the model name alone. Comparing the nameplate, existing support component and dimensions remains the most reliable basis for selecting the correct replacement part.

ORLANDINI is now part of the Nexion Group. The group includes other brands associated with vehicle lifts. However, rubber pads from other Nexion brands are not automatically compatible with ORLANDINI lifts. Dimensions, mounting shape and model designation must always be considered together.

The most important measurements are diameter, height and, where the rubber pad has more than one hole, the hole spacing measured from centre to centre. For rectangular rubber pads or rubber blocks, length, width and height are also required. For support discs, information about pins, threads, bores, grooves, disc shape and mounting method is also helpful.

Photos of the old rubber pad from the top, bottom and side are useful, as are details of the model number, serial number, lifting capacity and condition of the old pad.
