AGM Automotive Lifts – Italian Lifting Technology Since 1967

The history of AGM began in 1967 with the development of hydraulic automotive lifts in Italy. Over several decades, this resulted in a wide range of solutions for lifting passenger cars and commercial vehicles, from classic two-post lifts to scissor lifts. One of the main areas of focus was hydraulic lifting technology for daily use in workshops and body shops.

The original AGM company no longer exists in its former structure. Its history is continued by the Italian company Galta Srl. Galta took over the know-how and experience from the AGM era and continues to offer automotive lifts under the AGM brand today. For numerous older and newer AGM models, we offer suitable rubber supports, rubber pads, rubber blocks and lifting blocks.

Rubber Pads for Older AGM Automotive Lifts

Especially on older AGM automotive lifts, replacing rubber pads and rubber supports is often necessary due to ageing and wear. Well-known models and series include S 25, S 30, S 30 L, G 28, G 32, G 35, SI 32, SI 32 P, SI 32 H and SI 32 B.

Other well-known AGM models include G 50, G 50 A, G 50 H and G 50 A H, as well as the M40 series and M45 series. The designation C 260 DR can also be found on older installations.

Some older AGM series may also appear in connection with Govoni. These include, in particular, the M40 series, G50 series and C 260 DR. When searching for the correct rubber support, it is therefore advisable to check not only the AGM brand but also the information on the automotive lift's nameplate.

AGM GT Automotive Lifts and Suitable Rubber Supports

AGM GT models include GT-EL40 and GT-EL60, as well as GT-V40, GT-V40M, GT-V50, GT-V60 and GT-V80.

Other well-known versions include GT-TP4.0 AIR2, GT-TP4.0 TOP2 and GT-TB4.0 BASEMENT2, as well as GT-SC3.0, GT-S400, GT-S500 and GT-S600.

Rubber Blocks for AGM Scissor Lifts

Scissor lifts often use universal rubber blocks as supports between the automotive lift and the vehicle. Corresponding AGM series include GT-BS4.0, GT-BS5.5, GT-BSL4.0, GT-BSL5.5, GT-BSLP3.5, GT-BSLP4.0, GT-BSLP5.5, GT-BSULP3.5, GT-BSULP4.0 and GT-BSULP5.5.

When selecting the correct rubber block, height, length, width and contact surface are particularly important. Depending on the vehicle's lifting point, a more compact contact surface can be advantageous, while larger rubber blocks can be used for larger lifting points.

Which Rubber Support Fits My AGM Automotive Lift?

Especially with older AGM automotive lifts, the rubber support should not be ordered based solely on the model number. The year of manufacture, version and support plate used may differ.

For reliable identification, we recommend sending us a photo of the nameplate on your AGM automotive lift. The manufacturer, model and type should be clearly legible. An additional photo of the existing rubber pad or rubber support with a measuring tape or folding ruler placed next to it helps us determine the diameter, dimensions and design.

For scissor lifts, the height and dimensions of the rubber block are particularly important. Based on this information, we can help you find the correct rubber support, rubber pad or lifting block for your AGM automotive lift.
